Try Truncation!

Another technique that can improve your search results is called truncation. Truncating a word means that you are able to search different forms of the same word at the same time.

Truncation requires the use of symbols to replace word endings.

Here are some of the most common symbols: the asterisk, question mark, and pound sign.

Lexis/Nexis, however, uses the exclamation point !
This is different from all the other online resources available from Corgan Library!

Check the database or e-journal collection's Help section if your truncation symbol isn't working--you might need to use a different symbol for that particular resource.
