Truncation is like
using the Boolean OR.
When you
truncate, you are really searching on several words at the same
time.
Similar to when you use OR, truncation will expand your search, and find mORe results.
In Academic Search Premier, as in all the EBSCO system
databases,
the truncation symbol is the asterisk,
or star.
