Welcome!
The Green Inititiave is a grassroots movement for sustainability at King's College. Formed in 2007, we are a group of like-minded people who are concerned about sustainability and how King's College can foster greater environmental awareness and action among the members of the King's College Community. We are guided by the following concerns:
- Educating community members on environmental issues.
- Promoting environmental responsibility.
- Providing opportunities for community members to take action on environmental issues and initiatives.
- Improving the standard of living amongst campus residents and workers through environmentally responsible purchasing and practices.
- Raising the profile of King's College as an environmentally responsible institution.
- Living the mission by fostering responsible global stewardship.
