Frances Feudale DO, FACEP
Program Director

Dr. Frances A. Feudale began as assistant director of the King's College PA Program in May 2001 and was appointed program director in August 2002. She received a Bachelors Degree in Biology/Pre-Medical Sciences from Franklin and Marshall College. Before proceeding onto her doctorate, Dr. Feudale spent two years teaching high school sciences at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional High School in Shamokin, PA. She received her Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She went on to train in Emergency Medicine at one of the first Emergency Medicine residencies in the country, Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA.
Dr. Feudales clinical experience is in Emergency Medicine and as a Flight Physician. She continues to practice part-time as a member of the Sapphire Emergency Medicine Group at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital and serves as the groups Education Coordinator. Dr. Feudale holds certifications in Basic Life Support, Pediatric Life Support, Advanced Life Support and Advanced Trauma Life Support and is a certified Instructor for Advanced Life Support.
Dr. Feudale has also been involved in medical research. In 1998, she presented a poster on "Utility of Screening RPR Serologies in a Rural Trauma Center" at the American College of Emergency Physicians Annual Convention. In 1999, she was the winner of the PSGHS Emergency Medicine Research Award for her research on "Parents Perceptions and Practices Regarding Car Seat and Airbag Safety in Children." In 2000, she published a case report on "Recognizing Vertebral Artery Dissection in Children" in the journal Pediatric Emergency Care.
During the didactic year she teaches endocrinology and research methods/evidence-based medicine and journal critique. She is in charge of the Masters Research Project required of all Masters students.
She is a member of the Academy of Emergency Physicians, the American Osteopathic Association and the American Medical Association and is board certified in emergency medicine and recently achieved the status of fellow in the American College of Emergency Physicians. She is also a physician member of the AAPA, PAEA and PSPA.
Dr. Feudale is advisor of the pre-health professions club and has been a guest lecturer for the Athletic Training Education Program and neuroscience departments.
