APPLICANTS ENTERING AS FRESHMEN

Students entering as freshmen are required to meet King’s College admission requirements by:

Progression Criteria:
At the end of each year of the pre-professional phase, the student’s performance will be reviewed by the PA Admission Committee to determine if there is to be further advancement in the program. Enrollment in the pre-professional program does not assure admission into the professional program.*

Academic requirements for advancement to the next year of the pre-professional phase are:

Students who do not meet the above requirements for progression will be dismissed from the PA major, but may be able to remain at the College and choose another major provided they meet the general College academic standards.

At the completion of the spring semester of the sophomore year, students must complete a logging form supplied by the program. This form allows the student to document their patient care hours this far and confirms their intent to enter into the professional phase so long as they continue to meet the progressions criteria.

Entrance into the Professional Phase will be contingent upon:

Applicants who already possess a baccalaureate degree in biology, science, or other major area, may apply to enter the professional phase of the master’s program if they have:
