PROGRAM ACCREDITATION

The Kings’ College physician assistant program, established in 1975, has expanded its professional staff to accommodate growth as a five-year master’s level program. King’s College is fully-accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. Provisional approval of the Master of Science in Physician Assistant studies (MSPAS) was granted by the Pennsylvania Department of Higher Education in February of 1999.

The physician assistant program at King’s College has been accredited through 2010 by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant, Inc. (ARC-PA), and has been accredited since 1977.

Only graduates from accredited or provisionally-accredited programs are eligible to sit for the National Commission on Certification for Physician Assistants examination and state licensure/registration.
