Guides Study Guides on a variety of topics are available in the Instruction and Reference Department for the use of students and faculty. The citation style sheets (ACS, APA, CBE, MLA and Turabian) are popular. Other Study Guide titles include: "How to Critically Analyze Information Resources," "How to Review a Book," "Preparing Abstracts and Annotations," "Distinguishing Scholarly from Non-Scholarly Publications." Tutorials Self-paced tutorials are offered to assist students in developing their skills in searching the Internet, using journal databases, and conducting research in the library. |
