Enable Anonymous Site Access in SharePoint
An anonymous user is Joe Average from the internet-- someone who visits your page without logging in at all. Think of the applications and repercussions of this setting before enabling.
- At your main site, click on Site Actions
and select Site Settings .
- In the Users & Permissions column, select Advanced Permissions.
- A list of site users/groups will display. On the toolbar, click Settings and choose Anonymous Access.
- Access may be set to "Nothing." Select "Entire Web site."
- Click OK to save your changes. Now users will be able to view your site without logging in. Permissions for web parts can be modified on an individual basis.
