NetSupport School
Where: All classroom computer labs by Spring
What: NetSupport School allows you to control computers in a lab environment. Allow or block certain applications and/or websites to keep students on task.
SharePoint - View Tutorials
What: SharePoint is, at its best, a collaborative tool that allows users to work on documents without having to get together in person. Discussion boards, photo databases, contacts, and polling are just a few of the other tools that can help your group collaborate on an ongoing basis, instead of just at weekly meetings.
TurningPoint

What: An audience response system, TurningPoint enables you to poll your students and get results in seconds. At King's, the technology has been used to evaluate lectures with review questions, as well as a way to direct class discussion.
Captivate
Where: Limited license
What: Capture your on-screen movements and export them to several viewable formats with Captivate (formerly RoboDemo). This tool is perfect for online review of software programs. Advanced features include quizzing and narration.
Impatica
Where: Limited license
What: PowerPoint presentations are sometimes difficult to recall, so Impatica helps make them available online without having to distribute the raw file to students. This can preserve the authenticity of the original presentation, but still allow students to view it at their leisure.
SMARTboard
Where: Education, CELT
What: Ever want to mark up the monitor to help the class understand a topic? This interactive whiteboarding system allows you to do just that. You can interact with the computer from a giant screen, instead of running back to the mouse.
