POSITION:                            Sandella's Evening Supervisor

 

GRADE & SALARY:              27, $12.70/hour,

 

SCHEDULE:                           Monday –Friday 4:30pm-8:30pm

 

DEPARTMENT:                      Dining Services

 

POSITION REPORTS TO:     Retail Manager

 

JOB FUNCTION:                   Supervises the evening shift and closing of the Susquehanna Room

 

ESSENTIAL ELEMENTS:

1.      Assists Retail Manager in supervising Susquehanna Room during the evening shift.

2.      Assures afternoon preparation and timely opening including but not limited to coffee service, cash register set up, cooler display, etc.

3.      Supervises the closing of registers and secures cash deposits daily.

4.      Secures all doors, coolers, and storage areas at the end of each day.

5.      Follows HACCP guidelines for preparation and storage of food and food products and ensures that same procedures are followed by all employees under their supervision.

6.      Responsible for preparing menu items throughout the evening as necessary.

7.      Provides excellent Customer Service.

8.      Assists in promoting and growing sales.

9.      Restocks any and all food products.

10.  Supervises associates during evening hours.

11.  Daily cleaning and sanitizing of equipment.

 

NON-ESSENTIAL ELEMENTS:

1.      Performs other duties as assigned.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & TRAINING:

Minimum of 2 years experience in food prep and service along with cash handling procedures and documented supervisory experience is required.  Must possess the ability to effectively communicate, understand and follow oral and written directions. Ability to get along with others, thoroughness, dependability, cleanliness.

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Ability to stand for long periods of time. Ability to walk, bend, stoop, reach, push, twist, stretch and lift approximately 25-50 lbs on a regular basis. Finger dexterity.
