Women’s Lacrosse Coach and Intramural
Supervisor
CLASSIFICATION: Exempt
DEPARTMENT: Athletics
REPORTS TO: Director
of Intercollegiate Athletics and Recreation
JOB FUNCTION: Organize
and administrate all aspects of the varsity women’s lacrosse program and
oversee management of Fall Intramural Sports.
ESSENTIAL
ELEMENTS:
- Manage all
administrative aspects of the program including team travel, scheduling of
games and coordination of practice times with Men’s lacrosse team on turf
field.
- Actively recruit
qualified student athletes that meet academic standards and profile of the
college; Identify potential student athletes through off campus
recruitment and coordination of on campus visits
- Create and sustain an
atmosphere that promotes academic and personal growth resulting in overall
success of student athletes
- Identify, recruit and
supervise assistant coaches
- Assist in preparation of
yearly operating budgets with ability to adhere to an approved operating budget
- Organize fundraising
activities that support team operating expenses
- Support initiatives of
the Monarch Athletic Fund (MAF)
- Demonstrate an
understanding of and ability to support the mission of the college
- Possess strong
organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage
multiple tasks
- Function as a collegial
team member by working with all members of the King’s College community,
including a willingness to participate in campus events and committees
- Adhere to all NCAA and
conference rules and regulations
- Willingness to work
evenings and weekends as needed
- Oversee the organization
of the Fall Intramural program.
OTHER ELEMENTS:

experience

Ability to lift 50 pounds without an issue
QUALIFICATIONS:
1.
Bachelor Degree from an accredited college or
university (minimum credential)
2.
Unqualified background check (clearance)
3.
Valid United States Driver’s License
4.
