COMPUTER SCIENCE FACULTY POSITION

 

King's College has an opening for a full-time faculty position in Computer Science starting Fall 2018.  Candidates holding a Master’s, ABD, or Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field are encouraged to apply.  Experience teaching computer science is preferred.  The successful candidate will teach a broad range of computer science courses, possibly including introductory courses to non-majors.  Teaching load will be 9-12 hours per semester.  Primary interest and commitment must be to quality instruction and to formally training and mentoring young computer scientists. 

 

The rank for this position is open, and will be determined by the candidate’s qualifications and experience.  The continued development and enhancement of computing programs is a critical part of the College’s strategic plan, and for the successful candidate there is the potential a leadership opportunity in the future.  King’s College is committed to offering a highly competitive compensation package.
