Steps for Signing In to WebCT

Recently we have merged our WebCT database with the King's Network ID database. This means that the username and password that get you onto a campus computer or in your King's email can get you into your WebCT course * . You will only be able to access WebCT if your course/instructor is using it. Not all students use WebCT, so check with your syllabus or instructor first.

The first step to signing into WebCT is getting to the login screen, located at http://www.kings.edu/webct (clicking this link will open the page in a new window so you will be able to read along).

Type in your username and password, then click "Login" button. The first page you will see is the myWebCT page, showin in the example below.

If the myWebCT Page (listing your courses) does not appear, email webct@kings.edu.

If you get an error indicating an "Invalid Username/Password," then there is an issue with your account. For prompt service, email webct@kings.edu or fill out the form here .

If your screen goes blank or you only have part of the frames you need for the full WebCT experience, then you have an issue with your browser. Click here to read more about the known browser conflicts.

It is suggested that you sign up for Password Station (located under Technology Links on http://my.kings.edu) to better equip you for possible password issues. This allows you to reset your password based on a series of questions instead of contacting help@kings.edu and waiting for us to assist you.
