50+ Rounds on the Topic

I debated for several years at ENMU and am currently the graduate

assistant at the University of Wyoming.

If you have specific questions you should ask me before the round, but

some general things you might find helpful are:

I give very little credence to arguments made in overviews, but not in

line-by-line debate.

I think predictability is an important measure of ground. This means that

solvency advocates for case/CP are a good thing. It also means that

topicality debates are centered, for me, on cases which the topical and

country specific literature argues are constructive engagement.

I'm enjoy theory debates that are skillfully and extensively argued.

I cringe at theory debates in which the answers are all 3-5 words long.

I like risk/impact analysis/comparison in the last two speeches.

Absent risk analysis I have to figure out for myself what impact

comparisons, link risk etc. are in the round. Leaving this to my lights

could leave you very disappointed, perhaps even saddened by my decision.
