Skateboarders

Security responded to Monarch Court for skateboarders. Security while enroute did observe a male in a black hood skate off one of the benches in Monarch Court. The subject fled upon seeing security.

Theft

A King’s basketball player came to security to report a theft of shoes. The student stated that he discovered his practice shoes were stolen from the cage area.

Vandalism

On the above listed date and time, security while on patrol discovered the gate arm to the Holy Cross lot was broken. Maintenance slip filed.

Fire Alarm

Security responded to Esseff Hall for a fire alarm. Security along with WBFD responded and went to the third floor room for the smoke detector. There was smoke due to burned food. The room was aired out and WBFD reset the alarm.

Public Drunk

Security while on mobile patrol with a WBPD Officer riding along, they discovered a female lying on the sidewalk in the rear of Alumni Hall. Several males were trying to get her to stand. The WBPD Officer placed the subject under arrest for public drunk. The subject is not a King’s College student. The subject was transported to police headquarters.

Criminal Mischief

Security received a phone call from a King’s student who lives in Alumni Hall who reports her vehicle was egged sometime during the night. The vehicle is a 2007 Ford Focus yellow in color.

Criminal Mischief

Security while on patrol in front of Holy Cross Hall was almost hit by a plastic bottle that exploded a few feet away. When the bottle exploded, there was an odor of ammonia in the air. After a short while, another plastic bottle exploded.

Vandalism

Security while on patrol discovered the gate arm broken to the Holy Cross Hall. Maintenance slip filed.

November 1, 2008

Underage Drink

Security while on patrol in front of Esseff Hall observed King’s student exit Gonda’s and tried to push over a newspaper stand. The student crossed the street and was stopped in front of Esseff Hall. The student had a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage on his breath. Student will receive a referral.

Public Drunk

Security was approached by a King’s student who reported that another King’s student is passed out on the sidewalk at the corner of North Street and N. Main Street. Security observed a male subject lying on the sidewalk not responding to his friends. Security called for a WB ambulance and the police. The male was transported to the hospital/. WBPB refused to cite the student. The Director of Resident was notified along with the professional on call.

Assault

Security was called to Alumni Hall for a fight in the process in the lobby. The group that was fighting were not college students. Security arrived on scene and the group fled. WBPD was notified. There was lack of evidence to stop the other group who was fighting with students.

Solicitation

Security responded to Holy Cross for two females soliciting votes for Obama. The girls were stopped on the seventh floor by security and escorted off campus.

Safety Hazard

Security while on patrol by the clock tower in Monarch Court observed a plastic bottle lying on the ground. The plastic bottle had tin foil and some unknown substance inside the bottle to make the bottle to explode. The bottle never went off. A picture of the bottle was taken and the bottle was thrown away.

November 2, 2008

Property Damage

Security was called to the gym by the wrestling coach for damage to property report. A student wrestler while entering the gym through the main door, with his bag, hit the glass and caused it to break.

Solicitation

Security while on patrol in the Holy Cross Parking lot discovered multiple vehicles covered with political signs. The signs were removed and thrown in the garbage.

Graffiti

Security while in mobile patrol discovered graffiti on the dumpster in the parking lot.

Vandalism

Security while on mobile patrol discovered the gate arm to the North street lot was broken.
