Fall is looking to be chock-full of a variety of live musical entertainment for fans of all sorts of music genres.
Classic rock fans, rejoice! One of the most well known rock bands, AC/DC, have reunited and are kicking off their tour right here in Wilkes-Barre. On October 28, they start their “Black Ice” tour at the Wachovia Arena. The tickets run for $92 and will be on sale starting September 20 at 10:00 AM. The band also has their new album, Black Ice, coming out on October 20.
Also on tap for the Wachovia Arena are more eclectic shows. The extravagant legend Elton John will be performing October 18. The Trans-Siberian Orchestra will be performing November 5th and the Celtic Thunder will be stopping by the arena on November 6th.
The Bloomsburg Fair will be held from Saturday, September 20, until the following Saturday, September 27. Acts featured are Kellie Pickler on the 21, Three Days Grace on the 25, and Sugarland on the 26. The fair should be great fun for country fans especially due to the lineup listed.
Further on down the road we have Jason Mraz playing at the Scranton Cultural Center on October 8, tickets are $25-$35. Panic at the Disco, Plain White T’s and The Cab will also play here October 30, tickets are $35.
Down in Philadelphia at the Fillmore at the TLA, Apocalyptica plays September 29 and Matthew Nathanson will play on October 4.
Heading east to New Jersey at the Susquehanna Bank Center, Mary J. Blige will play on September 26. September 27 brings Weezer and Angels and Airwaves to the stage.
No matter what kind of music you enjoy listening to, the early fall concerts are sure to be memorable ones and the list will only continue to grow. Fall is shaping up to be a good season for entertainment! |
