The Class of 2008 will be overjoyed with this year's senior commencement happenings. It all begins Tuesday, May 13 at 6:30 p.m. when the Woodlands Inn and Resort hosts the Commencement Ball. This is a black tie event held for graduating seniors only and will include an All College Award presentation, senior slide show, dancing and an open bar. Graduates even have the opportunity to have professional photos taken of them while they reminisce about their King's College days.

Thursday, May 15 brings about the Casino Social where seniors can gamble their worries away on a game of Texas Hold ‘Em along with other casino games. There will be food, drinks and music as well as hourly door prizes. The fun begins at 7:00 and lasts until 10:00 p.m.

The morning of Friday, May 16 will bring the Senior Class Picnic from 11:30-1:00 p.m. Seniors can come join in the recollection of those unforgettable memories of the past four years.

It certainly doesn't stop there. The Baccalaureate Mass will take place on Saturday, May 17 at 4:00 p.m. in the Scandlon Physical Education Center. This unification of all faiths will hold prayers for our graduating seniors and the start of their new journey into life. At 9:00 p.m., the members of the King's College Alumni Association will host the Senior/Alumni Party in the Regina Court and Connerton's Café. This casual event is free to seniors and their families and carries on until midnight.

Finally, the event seniors have both anticipated and dreaded at once, the Commencement ceremony on Sunday, May 18. Graduates need to be at the Wachovia Arena at 1:00 p.m. for preparation as the commencement begins at 2:00 p.m. Pedro A. Cortes, Esq., the Pennsylvania Secretary of the Commonwealth, will address the graduates before the time comes to walk the plank, diploma in hand. It's time to say goodbye to one of the most important phases of life and say hello to a plethora of possibilities for the future.

What will your future hold? It's time to find out.
