LeighAnn Burke had a game-high 33 points to lead the visiting DeSales Bulldogs over the hosting King's College Monarchs. With the win DeSales record improves to 18-2 overall with a 7-1 Freedom Conference Record. King's drops to 11-10 overall and 5-3 in conference play.

King's started with a solid first half as sharp shooters Kaitlyn Fiorino and Jenna Palumbo hit back-to-back shots from behind the arc. DeSales however responded immediately with three short jumpers from Burke, Amanda Kuperavage and Caitlin Miller. The game continued to waver back and forth as both sides showed an intense inside game. With six minutes remaining in the half, King's hit three consecutive 3-pointers from Fiorino, Lauren Kendra and Andrea Hochstuhl to put the Monarchs ahead 26-20. King's however was unable to keep such a big lead as DeSales used the boards for three unanswered baskets pulling the Bulldogs within one at the half.

At the start of the second half, the bulldogs scored six quick unanswered points by Kaila Wiand, Burke and Kuperavage to keep the lead for good. In response, King's was able to bring it within one from a layup by Kaitlyn Malshefski and a free-throw from Kendra, but King's was unable to regain the lead for the rest of the contest as DeSales shut down the Monarchs outside game. Burke stole the show in the second half scoring 20 of her 33 points in the final 15 minutes of the second half.

Kendra had a team high 12 points for the Monarchs while Hochstuhl added 11. Kim Rarick chipped in with 12 points for the Bulldogs.
