Associates degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from California Unviversity of Pennsylvania

B.S in Athletic Training from California University of Pennsylvania

M.S. in Athletic Training from Ohio University

M.Ed in Higher Education from Ohio University

 

Ms. Knouse joined the King's College Sports Medicine Faculty in the fall of 2003. She currently teaches classes in the Athletic Training Education Program including Therapeutic Modalities, Therapeutic Modalities lab and Senior Seminar. Her current sport responsibilities as an Assistant Athletic Trainer include women's volleyball and men's / women's swimming.  She also serves as the coordinator of the Scandlon Sports Medicine Clinic overseeing rehabilitation and insurance.  Ms. Knouse is also an Approved Clinical Instructor at King's College, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant. She is an academic advisor to ATEP students and is co-advisor of the King's College Sports Medicine Society.  In addition to being a member of national, regional, and state organizations, Ms. Knouse has attended a number of Conferences and Clinical Symposia to enhance professional development.  She has also presented clinical research at the National level, co-authored many student case studies presented at regional and state conferences, and has been published in the Journal of Athletic Training. 

Ms. Knouse enjoys spending her time watching and attending NASCAR Nextel Cup Series events and Penn State Football events, working out, and spending valuable time keeping in touch with friends and family.
