 KING'S VOLLEYBALL BLANKS DEL-VAL, 3-0
 
   
WILKES-BARRE -- The King's College women's volleyball remained unbeaten in Freedom Conference play with a 3-0 victory over visiting Delaware Valley College Wednesday in Scandlon Gymnasium.

King's, which won by scores of 25-16, 25-16, 25-9, improved to 10-2 overall and 2-0 in league play.  Delaware Valley, meanwhile, slipped to 5-5 and 0-1 in conference action.

The Lady Monarchs were paced by Samantha Garrigues with 18 assists, nine service points, and three aces.  Kaitlyn Malshefski followed with eight kills, 11 service points, and three aces. Kat Clerici contributed seven kills and five total blocks. Katie Doss posted four kills and eight digs while Danielle Belfanti registered 12 digs.  Tanya Rabenold chipped in with four kills.

King's returns to action Saturday with an 11:00 a.m. tri-meet with Division II Chestnut Hill College and Lancaster Bible College.
