KING'S VOLLEYBALL WINS BRONZE BRACKET AT MUHLENBERG TOURNEY
ALLENTOWN - The King's College volleyball team posted two wins
Saturday claiming the bronze bracket in the Buttermaker Tournament at Muhlenberg College.
King's won its first match
against Centenary College 3-1 with scores of 26-30, 30-19, 30-19, 30-22.
The Lady Monarchs then defeated Albright College 3-0 with scores of
32-30, 30-23, 30-21.
Against Centenary, Dani
Belfanti led the way with 28 digs and 10 service points. Kaitlyn
Malshefski added 18 kills while Kat Clerici finished with 13 kills.
Nadya Alboschy contributed seven digs and 15 service points. Samantha
Garrigues and Kelly Greenway combined for 39 assists.
In the match with Albright,
Belfanti posted 26 digs while Clerici added 21 kills to set a
school-record for kills in a three-game match. Katie Doss
registered six digs while Garrigues and Greenway combined for 36
assists.
For King's, Clerici was
named to the All-Tournament Team.
