 KING'S VOLLEYBALL DOWNS DVC, 3-0
 
   
DOYLESTOWN -- The King's women's volleyball team picked up its first Freedom Conference victory of the season as the Lady Monarchs posted a 3-0 triumph over host Delaware Valley College Tuesday in Doylestown. The Lady Monarchs won by scores of 30-20, 30-10, 30-24.

With the win, King's improved to 10-5 overall and 1-1 in Freedom Conference play.

Kat Clerici led King's with 16 kills and three total blocks. Katie Doss followed with nine kills while Emily Kline and Kaitlyn Malshefski added six and five kills respectively. Danielle Belfanti posted 24 digs with 25 service points.

Samantha Garrigues and Kelley Greenway combined for 33 assists while Garrigues added 18 service points, six aces, and five kills.

King's returns to action Thursday when the Lady Monarchs host Rosemont College at 7:00 p.m. in Scandlon Gymnasium.
