KING'S VOLLEYBALL DROPS CONFERENCE OPENER AT DESALES
 
   
CENTER VALLEY -- The King's women's volleyball team dropped its Freedom Conference opening match 3-0 to DeSales University Wednesday in Center Valley.

DeSales won by scores of 30-21, 30-20, 30-27 to improved to 5-3 on the year while King's slipped to 7-3.

Katie Doss led King's with eight kills and 10 digs while Kat Clerici added nine kills. Danielle Belfanti totaled 24 digs while Kaitlyn Malshefski contributed with five kills.  Samantha Garrigues posted six kills, 11 assists, and nine service points while Kelly Greenway chipped in with 10 assists and four digs.

King's will next compete in the University of Scranton Invitational Friday and Saturday Scranton.
