KING'S VOLLEYBALL FALLS TO LYCOMING
WILKES-BARRE -- The King's College volleyball team
dropped a 3-1 decision to visiting Lycoming College in an important
Freedom Conference matchup Wednesday in Scandlon Gymnasium.
Lycoming, which won by scores of 30-22, 28-30, 30-17, 30-24, improved to
15-10 overall and 4-1 in Freedom Conference play. King's, meanwhile,
slipped to 15-11 and 2-3 in league action.
Kaitlyn Malshefski led King's with 11 kills and 12 digs while Kat
Clerici followed with 10 kills. Danielle Belfanti dished out 27 assists
with 11 digs while Samantha Page added nine kills. Jessica Luedeman
posted seven assists and eight digs while Erin Dugan chipped in with 14
digs.
King's will return to action Saturday when the Lady Monarchs host
Lancaster Bible and Immaculata College in an 11:00 a.m. tri-match in
Scandlon Gymnasium.
