KING'S VOLLEYBALL DEFEATS MISERICORDIA 3-0
DALLAS - The King's College women's volleyball team improved to 15-10 on
the year as the lady Monarchs posted a 3-0 victory over host College
Misericordia Thursday in Dallas.
King's won by scores of 30-14, 30-27, 30-27.
King's was led by freshman outside hitter Kaitlyn Malshefski with 14
kills and 10 digs, while fellow rookie hitter Kat Clerici was equally
solid with 12 kills, 14 digs, and two solo blocks. Danielle Belfanti
distributed 24 assists with six kills and 11 digs while Samantha
Page also added six kills. Erin Dugan contributed 15 digs while
Jessica Leudeman chipped in with eight digs, three kills, and two aces.
King's will be off for Fall Break and will return to action Wednesday
when the Lady Monarchs host Lycoming College at 7:00 p.m. in an
important MAC Freedom Conference matchup in Scandlon Gymnasium.
