KING'S VOLLEYBALL DEFEATS DESALES, 3-0
CENTER VALLEY - The King's volleyball team earned a crucial 3-0
victory over host DeSales University in a Freedom Conference matchup
Wednesday in Center Valley.
The Lady Monarchs won by scores of 30-25, 30-28, 30-28.
The matchup, between a pair of teams competing for a conference playoff
berth, improved King's to 12-9 overall and 2-2 in Freedom play.
DeSales, meanwhile, slipped to 7-14 overall and 1-3 in league
competition.
Kaitlyn Malshefski led the way with 16 kills and 12 digs while Kat
Clerici followed with 10 kills and nine digs. Samantha Page added
nine kills while Jessica Luedeman posted seven assists and 11 digs.
Danielle Belfanti distributed 32 assists with 16 digs, while Amanda
Breese chipped in with four kills and nine digs.
King's will return to action
Saturday with a tri-match at William Paterson University in Wayne, NJ.
King's will face Montclair State at 12:00 noon before playing William
Paterson at 2:00 p.m.
