KING'S VOLLEYBALL DROPS TWO TO CONCLUDE PLAY IN ONEONTA TOURNEY
ONEONTA, NY - The King's volleyball team dropped two games Saturday to
conclude play at the Oneonta Tournament.
With the losses King's drops
to 11-9 on the year.
King's dropped its first
match against Oneonta St. 0-3 with scores of 30-20, 30-20, and 30-26.
The Lady Monarchs then lost in their second match against St. John
Fisher 1-3 with scores of 29-31, 16-30, 30-21, and 15-30.
In the game against Oneonta
St. King's was led by Kat Clerici with eight kills, 14 digs, and 2 solo
blocks. Jessica Leudeman added 23 asists. Kaitlyn Malshefski followed
with six kills and eight digs.
Against St. John Fisher the
Lady Monarchs were led by Leudeman with 32 assists. Clerici followed
with nine kills and 16 digs, while Malshefski added eight kills and 15
digs. Amanda Breese contributed with eight kills and one solo block.
King's will return to action Wednesday when they travel to Center
Valley, PA for a game against DeSales University at 7:00 pm.
