KING'S VOLLEYBALL AT ONEONTA TOURNEY
ONEONTA, NY - The King's volleyball team dropped its first two matches by
3-0 scores on the opening day of the Oneonta Invitational Tournament
Friday in Oneonta, NY
King's fell to Geneseo State by scores of 30-16, 30-24, 30-22, the lost
to Russell Sage 30-12, 30-25, 30-20 to slip to 11-7 on the
year.
Against Geneseo,
Jess Luedeman posted 23 assists and three digs to pace King's. Kat
Clerici had seven kills and four blocks while Kaitlyn Malshefski added
eight kills and six digs. Erin Dugan posted eight digs.
Against Russell Sage, Luedeman added 26 assists and three kills; Clerici
contributed eight kills and three blocks; while Malshefski posted eight
kills and 10 digs. Dugan chipped in with eight digs and three kills.

King's will resume pool play Sunday with a 9:30 a.m. match against host
Oneonta State, followed by a 1:30 p.m. match against St. John Fisher.
The Lady Monarchs could play additional matches depending on how the
team fares in pool play.
