KING'S VOLLEYBALL FALLS TO FDU, 3-1
WILKES-BARRE -- The King's College women's
volleyball team dropped a 3-1 Freedom Conference matchup to FDU-Florham
Wednesday evening in Scandlon Gymnasium.
The Devils won by scores of 30-24, 30-28, 25-30, 30-25. With the win,
FDU improved to 9-5 overall and 2-0 in league play. King's fell to 10-4
and 1-1 in conference action.
King's was led by Kat Clerici with 15 kills and one block while Kaitlyn
Malshefski followed with eight kills, 19 digs, and three blocks.
Samantha Page added eight kills and two blocks, while Jessica Luedeman
contributed three kills and seven digs. Danielle Belfanti distributed 33
assists with 15 digs while Nadya Alboschy chipped in with 11 digs.
King's will return to action Friday when the Lady Monarchs travel to
Rosemont College for a 7:00 p.m. contest.
