KING’S VOLLEYBALL POSTS TWO WINS AGAINST
CENTENARY COLLEGE
WILKES-BARRE—The King’s College volleyball team
recorded two wins against Centenary College on Saturday, sweeping both
matches 3-0. With the wins, King’s improves to 10-3 overall while
Centenary drops to 0-11.
King’s won the first match with scores of 30-14,
30-15, and 30-14. The Lady Monarchs then took the second match in
familiar fashion winning with scores of 30-14, 30-16, and 30-10.
On the day King’s was led by freshman Danielle
Belfanti with 15 serve points, 56 assists, and nine digs. Freshman
Kaitlyn Malshefski added 23 kills and 21 serve points. Freshman Kat
Clerici contributed 21 kills and four solo blocks. Sophomore Amanda
Breese followed with 12 kills.
The Lady Monarchs return to action Wednesday when
they face FDU-Florham for a Middle Atlantic Conference matchup at 7:00
pm at Scandlon Gymnasium.
