KING'S VOLLEYBALL SWEEPS CEDAR CREST 3-0
ALLENTOWN -- The King's College women's volleyball
team improved to 8-3 on the year as the Lady Monarchs posted a 3-0
triumph over host Cedar Crest College Thursday in Allentown.
King's was led by freshman standout hitter Kaitlyn Malshefski who
enjoyed a brilliant match with 20 kills, 11 service points, three aces
and seven digs. Freshman setter Danielle Belfanti distributed 35 assists
with 11 service points, three aces, and seven digs.
Sophomore hitter Amanda Breese added six kills while freshman hitter Kat
Clerici posted three blocks. Sophomore defensive specialist Erin Dugan
totaled 14 digs with seven service points while senior hitter Jessica
Luedeman chipped in with seven digs and three kills.
King's returned to action Saturday when the Lady Monarchs play a home
doubleheader with Centenary College in Scandlon Gymnasium. The teams
will square of at 12:00 noon, and will then play a second time at 2:00
p.m. The annual King's Alumni Game will follow at 4:00 p.m.
