KING'S VOLLEYBALL DOWNS CHESTNUT HILL
WILKES-BARRE - The King's volleyball team closed out its season on a high
note as the Lady Monarchs defeated visiting Chestnut Hill College 3-0
Friday in Scandlon Gymnasium.
King's, which won by scores of 30-6, 30-9, 30-9, ended its season with a
23-10 record. Chestnut Hill slipped to 9-20.
King's was led by senior Jessica Kandefer with 11 kills, four digs, and
seven service points. Senior Michelle Oros followed with nine
kills, 10 service points, and four solo blocks. Senior Katie Carr
added seven digs and five kills while fellow senior Diane Lucas posted
eight digs and four kills.
Junior setter Jessica Luedeman distributed 29 assists while adding 32
service points, including a 19 consecutive service points to start the
first game of the match.
