KING'S VOLLEYBALL DOWNS MISERICORDIA, 3-1
WILKES-BARRE -- The King's College women's volleyball team posted its
third victory of the season over College Misericordia by a 3-1 count
Thursday in Scandlon Gymnasium.
King's, which won by scores 30-26, 30-12, 27-30, 30-24, improved to 18-6
on the season. Misericordia, meanwhile, slipped to 8-11.
King's was led by Michelle Oros with 18 kills and seven blocks while
Jessica Kandefer followed with 11 kills, 15 digs, and 24 service points.
Jessica Luedeman distributed 45 assists while Katie Carr contributed 12
digs, 18 service points, and five kills. Diane Lucas posted 13 digs and
seven kills, Katelyn Corgan chipped in with seven kills, while Erin
Dugan totaled 13 digs.
Misericordia was led by Kelly Coppage with 16 kills and 21 digs.
Chavonne Potts followed with 38 assists and 25 digs while Michelle
DiCicco added 12 kills. Amy Porambo aided the Cougar cause with 34 digs.
King's will next compete in the Green Terror Invitational at McDaniel
College Friday and Saturday in West Minster, Md.
