KING'S VOLLEYBALL FALLS TO SCRANTON
WILKES-BARRE - The King's College women's volleyball team got off to a
slow start and could never recover as the Lady Monarchs dropped a 3-0
decision to the University of Scranton in a Freedom Conference matchup
Tuesday in Scandlon Gymnasium.
Scranton won the match by scores of 30-12, 30-19, 30-28.
With the loss, King's slipped to 13-3 overall and 1-2 in Freedom
Conference play. Scranton improved to 10-9 and 2-1.
Jessica Luedeman paced King's with 22 assists, three digs, and nine
service points. Jess Kandefer followed with seven kills, nine digs, and
seven service points. Michelle Oros posted 10 kills, six solo blocks,
and eight service points. Katelyn Corgan chipped in with five kills.
King's will next compete in the Oneonta Invitational Tournament Saturday
and Sunday at Oneonta State University, Oneonta, NY.
