KING'S VOLLEYBALL SWEEPS TRI-MATCH, IMPROVES TO 12-1
LaPLUME -- The King's College women's volleyball team improved to 12-1
on the year as the lady Monarchs swept both ends of a tri-match Saturday
at Keystone College.
In the opener, King's defeated Centenary College 3-0 by scores of 30-18,
30-16, 30-15. In the second match, the Lady Monarchs defeated host
Keystone 3-0 by scores of 30-25, 30-17, 30-20.
Against Centenary, Jess Luedeman had 33 assists and eight service
points. Jessica Kandefer added 11 kills and two service aces. Michelle
Oros contributed nine kills and five solo blocks. Erin Dugan contributed
13 service points, five digs, and three aces while Katelyn Corgan
chipped in with four kills and three blocks.
Against Keystone, Diane Lucas registered 35 assists, five digs, and 11
service points. Dugan posted seven kills, six digs, four aces, and six
service points. Katie Carr added seven digs, six digs, and 10 service
points while Nadya Alboschy chipped in with seven kills and five service
points.
King's returns to action Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. with a key MAC Freedom
Conference matchup at FDU-Florham in Madison, NJ.
