KING'S VOLLEYBALL WINS TWO ON SATURDAY TO FINISH 3-1 AT MUHLENBERG
TOURNEY
ALLENTOWN -- The King's College volleyball team rebounded from its first
loss of the season Friday night to win both matches on Saturday at the
Muhlenberg College Tournament.
King's downed Misericordia 3-0 in its first match by scores of 30-24,
30-23, 30-22. The Lady Monarchs then defeated Albright 3-0 by scores of
30-26, 30-26, 30-24. With the wins, King's improved to 8-1 on the year.
Against Misericordia, Jessica Luedeman distributed 37 assists while
adding 10 digs. Michelle Oros followed with 16 kills and five blocks
while Katie Carr contributed 12 digs and seven kills.
Against Albright, Luedeman added 49 assists with eight digs while Oros
pounded out 18 kills and seven blocks to earn a spot on the
all-tournament team. Jessica Kandefer registered 14
kills and 11 digs while Carr chipped in with 14 digs and seven kills.
Eric Dugan totaled a combined 29 digs in both matches on Saturday.
King's will return to action Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. at Delaware Valley.
