KING'S VOLLEYBALL HANDS KACHINKO 300TH CAREER VICTORY
WILKES-BARRE -- King's College women's volleyball coach Bernie Kachinko
secured his 300th career coach victory as the host Lady Monarchs posted a
3-0 victory over Delaware Valley College Tuesday in Scandlon Gymnasium.
King's, which won by scores of 30-17, 30-19, 30-19, improved to 17-11 on
the year while Delaware Valley slipped to 4-15.
Katie Carr led the Lady Monarchs with 12 digs, seven kills, and 11 service
points. Jessica Luedeman distributed 33 assists and 15 service
points. Michelle Oros followed with 11 service points and six kills
while Diane Lucas added 10 digs. Elena DiGrado and Tricia Parks
posted 10 and eight kills respectively while Brittany Enz chipped with 10
digs.
Kachinko, who stands as the winningest coach in program history, improved
his overall career record to 300-204 in 16 seasons with the Lady Monarchs.
King's will close out its season Saturday with a 12:00 noon home contest
against Alvernia College in Scandlon Gym.
