LADY MONARCHS SWEEP IN VOLLEYBALL DOUBLEHEADER

WILKES-BARRE – King’s women’s volleyball defeated both Neumann College and Montclair State in back-to-back games on Saturday at Scandlon Gymnasium.

The Lady Monarchs defeated Neumann College three games to one with scores of 30-19, 30-13, 24-30, and 30-17.  King’s then followed up with a three game sweep of Montclair State ; 30-13, 30-21, and 30-17.

Michelle Oros had 32 kills on the weekend with ten solo blocks.  Katie Carr had a team high 37 digs with 20 service points and 19 kills.  Jessica Kandefer had 23 digs with 19 service points while Brittany Enz and Diane Lucas chipped in with 19 digs a piece.

King’s (14-11) will play its next match away at College Misericordia on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.
