VOLLEYBALL TEAM WINS OPENER AT MUHLENBERG TOURNAMENT
ALLENTOWN -- The King's College women's volleyball
team won its opening match at the Muhlenberg College Invitational
Tournament Friday in Allentown.
King's defeated Albright College 3-0 in its opening
match, winning by scores of 30-25, 30-23, 30-26 to improve to 6-1 on the
year.
The Lady Monarchs were led by Jessica Kandefer with
12 kills, 12 digs, and 10 service points. Michelle Oros followed with 12
kills and five blocks. Elena DiGrado contributed 11 kills while Diane
Lucas posted 12 digs. Brittany Enz distributed 38 assists while Katie Carr
chipped in with seven kills and five digs.
King's will continue play on Sunday at a time to be
determined.
