Moravian Volleyball defeats King’s
Lady Monarchs 3-1
WILKES-BARRE - Visiting Moravian College
upped their record to 11-1 on the year, defeating the King’s College
women’s volleyball team 3-1 Saturday in Scandlon Gymnasium. Moravian won
by scores of 30-23, 25-30, 30-16, and 30-19 as King’s dropped to 8-5
this season.
King’s was led by Annie German with 12
kills and nine digs, while Jess McVey followed with 17 kills and 23 digs.
Jessica Kandefer chipped in with six kills and seven digs, but it would
not be enough for the Lady Monarchs.
King’s will play its next game on
Wednesday 7:00 p.m. at Lycoming in Williamsport.
