KING’S VOLLEYBALL WINS TWO IN LVC
TOURNAMENT
ANNVILLE – The King’s College
women’s volleyball team bounced back to defeat PSU-Altoona 3-0 and Mt.
Aloysius 3-0 to place fifth at the Lebanon Valley Tournament Saturday afternoon.
The wins improve the Lady Monarchs to 7-4 on the season.
King’s defeated PSU-Altoona 30-26, 30-20, and 30-20
before downing Mt.
Aloysius 30-22, 30-28, and 30-25.
Annie
German had 36 kills, 20 digs, and 10 service points.
Jess McVey had 54 digs, 31 kills, and 19 service points.
Jessica Kandefer had 23 service points and 14 kills.
Lauren Foster had 56 assists, while Diane Lucas posted 32 digs.
Katie Carr had 29 digs and Elena DiGrado has 15 service points.
McVey was named to the
all-tournament team for King's, her third selection in as many events this
season.
King’s
will open up MAC Freedom conference play Tuesday evening in Scandlon
Gymnasium. Game time is set
for 7:00 pm again Wilkes University.
