KING'S VOLLEYBALL DROPS TWO AT LEB-VALLEY TOURNEY
ANNVILLE -- The King's College women's volleyball
team slipped to 5-4 on the year when the Lady Monarchs dropped their first
two matches at the Lebanon Valley College Invitational Friday in Annville.
The Lady Monarchs dropped a 30-27, 30-25, 30-26
verdict to NAIA Division II Roberts Wesleyan University in their first
match, before falling 30-25, 30-22, 30-14 to host Lebanon Valley.
Jessica McVey led King's on the day with 36 digs, 20
kills, 16 service points, and eight service aces. Annie German followed
with 29 digs, and 21 kills. Lauren Foster distributed 31 assists and 10
digs while Diane Lucas contributed 24 digs. Katie Car totaled 21 digs and
15 service points while Jessica Kandafer added 14 digs and 12 kills. Elena
DiGrado chipped in with 20 digs and seven kills.
King's will continue play Saturday at 10:00 a.m.
against Penn State-Altoona.
