KING'S VOLLEYBALL ADVANCES IN MUHLENBERG TOURNEY
ALLENTOWN -- The King's College women's volleyball team advanced to the
third round of the two-day Muhlneberg College Invitational Friday with
consecutive 3-0 sweeps of Arcadia University and Susquehanna Universirty.
King's won by scores of 30-15, 30-7, 30-9 against Arcadia, then 30-14,
30-28, 30-23 over Susquehanna to improve its season record to 6-0.
King's will face remaining games with Muhlenberg and Misericordia.
Against Arcadia the Lady Monarchs were paced by Jill Leibman with 11 kills
and 10 service points. Faith O'Dell followed with 14 service points
and six aces. Annie German added seven kills and Jessica McVey
chipped in with five kills and five aces. Katie Baffone and Lauren Foster
combined for 26 assists.
In the Susquehanna match, O'Dell had 12 kills and 16 digs; German added 14
kills; Baffone dished out 44 assists; while Jessiva McVey and Jill Leibman
chipped in with 10 and eight kills respectively.
