KING’S VOLLEYBALL DEFEAT LEBANON VALLEY, 3-1

ANNVILLE – The King’s College women’s volleyball team improved its record to 5-0 as the Lady Monarchs posted a 3-1 triumph over Lebanon Valley College Wednesday in Annville.

After dropping the first game 30-28, King’s rallied to sweep the final three contests 30-22, 30-21, 30-24 to remain unbeaten. Lebanon Valley fell to 5-2 on the year.

Leading the Lady Monarchs was Jessica McVey with 17 digs, 16 kills, and 15 service points. Katie Baffone dished out 42 assists with 16 digs and nine service points. Faith O’Dell followed with 19 kills and 13 digs; Jill Leibman added 13 service points and seven kills; while Tara Holly chipped in with 20 digs.

King’s will return to action Friday and Saturday when the Lady Monarchs compete in the Muhlenberg College Invitational in Allentown.
