KING'S TENNIS DEFEATS LYCOMING
WILKES-BARRE -- The Lady Monarch tennis team defeated
Lycoming College 8-1 Wednesday at Kirby Park.
The Lady Monarchs swept all three doubles matches to begin the
competition, then won five of six singles bouts. King's improved to 10-4
with the victory.
Kristen Hunter. Sarah Guza, Jillian Tallarico and Amanda Marchica were
all winners in both singles and doubles for King's. Hunter
improved to 10-4 in singles while Guza and Marchica upped their singles
logs to 9-5. Hunter and Guza elevated their doubles record to 12-2
while Marchica and Tallarico improved to 9-5 on the year.
The Lady Monarchs will host Baptist Bible Thursday at 3:30 p.m. at Kirby
Park.
