KING'S WOMEN'S TENNIS FALLS TO DESALES, 7-2
CENTER VALLEY -- The Lady Monarch tennis team dropped its Freedom
Conference opener 7-2 against host DeSales University losing five of six
singles matches and two of three in doubles competition on Saturday at
Center Valley, Pa.
With the loss King's falls to 4-2 and 0-1
in Freedom Conference play, while DeSales improves to 4-1 and 1-0 in
conference play.
Senior Elizabeth Walpole was the lone
winner for King's in singles play, while Walpole and sophomore Christy
Rossowski had the win in doubles match play.
King's will return to action Wednesday
when the Lady Monarchs host Penn State Harrisburg for a match at 3:30
pm.
