KING'S TENNIS FALLS TO NEUMANN, 5-4
WILKES-BARRE -- The King's College tennis team won two of the
three doubles bouts to start the match, but visiting Neumann College
rallied to claim four of the six singles tennis team contests
to rally for a 5-4 victory Monday at Kirby Park.
Jillian Tallarico and Lauren Breen were both winners in doubles and
singles for King's. Tallarico blanked Allison Trout 6-0, 6-0 before
teaming with Christy Rossowski for a 6-4 win in doubles. Breen was a
6-1, 6-4 victory over Kayla Chamberlain, then paired with Maria Comets
to forge a 8-4 doubles triumph.
