KING'S McMILLAN REPEATS ON FREEDOM CONFERENCE WOMEN'S SOCCER TEAM

WILKES-BARRE -- King's College sophomore women's soccer standout Lisa McMillan (Massapequa, NY/Massapequa) has been selected to the All-Freedom Conference Team as a first-team selection, the Middle Atlantic State Collegiate Athletic Corporation announced Thursday.

With her selection, McMillan becomes the first King's women's soccer player to be named to the first-team in both her freshman and sophomore seasons. In 2006, the 5-4 midfielder registered 23 points on 10 goals and three assists and led the Lady Monarchs with three game-winning goals.

McMillan, who had 28 points in her freshman season, has a two-year total of 51 points on 23 goals and five assists. Her 23 goals in two seasons is already the fourth highest career total in King's history and her 10 goals is the sixth most in one season.
