KING'S WOMEN'S SOCCER FALLS AT MISERICORDIA
DALLAS --College Misericordia women's soccer team
used two first half goals on way to a 3-0 victory over King's College
Saturday in Dallas, PA.
With the loss the Lady Monarchs drop to 3-3-2,
while the Lady Cougars improve to 9-2.
Aja Pyers gave Misericordia the lead on a goal at
17:32 in the first half with an assist from Carmie Del Pizzo. Alison
Martin then added the second goal of the half just four minutes later.
The Lady Cougars got some insurance late on a goal
from Kristina Johnson with an assist from Martin with just five minutes
remaining in the game.
Misericordia outshot King's 9-8, while holding an
advantage in corner kicks 5-4.Lady Monarch goalie Christina Uhl had five
saves on the day.
King's will return to action Monday when they
travel to face Cedar Crest College for a game at 4:00 pm.
