KING'S WOMEN'S SOCCER FALLS TO DESALES, 3-0

CENTER VALLEY -- Rachel Emmons scored two goals to lead the host DeSales University women's soccer team to a 3-0 victory over King's College Saturday in Center Valley.

With the win, DeSales improved 5-3-1 overall and 1-1-1 in the Freedom Conference while King's fell to 5-6 and 0-3.

Emmons scored off a Katie Dishman assist at 33:16 of the first half. Just 0:46 later, Jessica Tate would score unassisted to give the Bulldogs a 2-0 halftime lead. DeSales would score the final goal of the game with 7:17 remaining in the contest when Emmons scored her second goal unassisted.

King's will return to action Tuesday when the Lady Monarchs host Marywood University at 4:00 p.m. at Betzler Fields.
